Water Test Performed
Samples received are processed using various technologies including gas chromatography/mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry, inductively-coupled plasma mass spectrometry and standard wet chemistry and microbiological techniques. Methods are USEPA published methods. All samples are processed in adherence to a strict quality assurance program. VICC Water Laboratory performs the following tests:
- Safe Drinking Water Act Compliance Analysis
- Micro-Bacteriological Test
- Bacterial Test ( helps identify the source of the contamination )
- Test for coliform bacteria, nitrate, nitrite, chloride, fluoride and sulfate
- Test for lead, Regulated VOC's, Trihalomethanes, Unregulated
- VOC's, Inorganic metals, and Chlorinated pesticides
- Test for pH, hardness, iron, manganese, copper, etc.
